I love the option of throwing on a tunic while on a beach vacation. They are so versatile and can be used as a beach cover-up during the day or can be transitioned into a more casual laid-back outfit for a night on the town by simply changing up the accessories. I love this tunic I found at a TJMAXX several years ago. Our night out to the local Baytowne Wharf village was the perfect location for this more casual beach ensemble. Hubs and I had a blast taking pictures in this gorgeous landscape {which I don't get to do that often!}...I hope you enjoy!

With so many great local shopping areas in Destin, it is hard to visit them all in just one short week! But one of my favorite places to shop is the Destin Commons. From great local boutiques to fun places to dine with the family, the Destin Commons are an all around treat for locals and tourists alike! I decided to keep it casual with a messy bun and a fitted top and shorts combo for our night out. I pretty much live at the beach with minimal to no makeup and keep my hair in a messy up-do of some sort...you never know when you will just feel that urge to go run and jump in the ocean at any moment :)

I am so picky when it comes to buying a pair of pants because I usually have trouble finding pants that fit me well (I am a tad...well more than a tad curvy in the back if you know what I mean!) and I can try on 100 pairs before I find one that actually fits decently! So I was pumped when I was able to score another pair of fantastic fitting jeans from the Saks F&F sale last week. These are by Rag & Bone and I love how they are skinny jeans that I can actually move around in and are extremely comfortable! Sometimes its more about the comfort factor to me than the look factor...but luckily this pair combines both!
